The Johnsons comes to an end- Charles Inojie

After being on television for 13 years, The Johnsons, a beloved Nigerian comedy series, has come to an end. Charles Inojie, a Nollywood actor who portrayed the character Lucky Johnson, shared the news on his official Instagram account.

In his announcement, he expressed gratitude to Africa for their support throughout the show’s run. The Johnsons had been the most-watched television series in Africa, and it had become a favourite among families during its 13-year tenure.

Inojie acknowledged the incredible team of cast and crew who contributed to the show’s success, emphasizing that their dedication made the past 13 years truly remarkable. He also expressed deep appreciation to the show’s loyal viewers across the African continent, who stood by them throughout the entire journey.

Prior to the series finale, The Johnsons experienced the departure of some cast members, including Ada Ameh (known as Amu Johnson), who passed away in 2022, and Samuel Ajibola (known as Spiff), who left for personal reasons.
